The raw materials price is rmb10.8/kg in Hainan and rmb 10.9-11/kg in Guangdong. In order to reduce the costs, Guangdong factories worked together to push the farmers to catch more fish and reduce the price, also the weather is getting hot and need to reduce the rearing density.
Due to lots of orders delayed from Apr., now the shipments of the plants are to Aug., and then from the processing, will return to normal capacity.
As the news in this Apr. the USA tilapia importing quantity is the lowest from the Apr. 2021; there are no big orders from USA. With more materials supply and price reduce gradually; there may be more orders from USA.
