The raw materials price is rmb10.6/kg in Hainan and rmb 11.3/kg in Guangdong.
Last weekend typhoon “mojie” landed in Hainan and Guangdong which caused big affect to Hainan tilapia processing plants. There is no electricity and water in the plants, the work of repairing is proceeding. Some plants need to rebuild the destroyed part which may take about 10-15 days.
Some are better, and processing gradually return in this Wed. or Thursday.
There are too many orders for each plant, due to typhoon, at least there is no processing in one week, and some even more days. Several shipments will be delayed in the following time; as for the fish supply if any big loss, will be more clear around end of Sep.
In the past years, there never happen that the orders are full before Chinese new year for several plants in Sep.
